Lard is a junior civil-law notary at VDB Notarissen. He specialises in corporate law and related notarial law.
After attaining his bachelor's and master's degree in notarial law - specialising in corporate law - at Radboud University Nijmegen (2006-2012), he completed the notarial professional training programme in 2016. In 2020, he completed the Grotius specialist programme in company and business law, cum laude.
Lard has accumulated extensive experience in notarial practice. He started his career at VDB Notarissen in Waalre (2012-2014) before moving to Loyens & Loeff in Rotterdam (2015-2025). He returned to VDB Notarissen in Rosmalen and Waalre in early 2025.
As a member of the corporate law practice group, he advises on matters including (international) acquisition structures, (cross-border) restructurings, joint ventures, mergers, demergers, takeovers, secured lending and (re)financing.
