Joyce is an associate civil-law notary at VDB Notarissen. She specialises in family law.
After studying notarial law at Leiden University (1995-2001), where she also took the subjects of major criminal law and major civics, she completed the notarial professional training programme (2002-2005). To further deepen her knowledge, she attended the advanced business law course (2017-2018) and participates in various professional courses on an ongoing basis.
Joyce has extensive working experience in the notarial profession. She started her career as a junior civil-law notary at Hekkelman Notarissen in Arnhem and Nijmegen (2001-2015), where she worked within corporate, personal and family law. She then worked as a junior civil-law notary at Huijbregts Notarissen & Adviseurs in 's-Hertogenbosch, focusing on corporate law. She joined VDB Notarissen in 2019 and applies her vast experience and expertise in advising clients in the field of family law.
