Kim is a civil-law notary and partner at VDB Notarissen in Maastricht. She specialises in corporate law, with specific focus on family businesses, acquisitions, restructurings, partnerships and cross-border transactions.
After graduating in notarial law and tax law at Radboud University Nijmegen (2014), she joined VDB Notarissen in March 2015 within the corporate law division. In 2018, she completed the notarial professional training programme cum laude, followed by the "Corporate and Business Law” Grotius specialisation course which she also completed cum laude in 2020.
Within VDB Notarissen, Kim has shown great growth: from junior civil-law notary (2015) to junior civil-law notary with deputisation qualification (2018), managing counsel (2024) and finally her appointment as civil-law notary and partner on 15 January 2025.
In her current role, she focuses on setting up and expanding the practice at the Maastricht office, specifically targeting entrepreneurs.
