Femke is an associate civil-law notary at VDB Notarissen. She specialises in personal and family law and estate planning.
After studying Dutch law at Tilburg University (2007), she completed the notarial law programme at Radboud University Nijmegen (2008). She completed both the lawyers’ professional training programme (2009) and the notarial professional training programme (2011). Femke has further specialised by attending the divorce as estate planning expert course (2017), the business succession for family business course at the Tilburg Institute for Family Business (2021) and the Grotius estate planning course (2024). Femke has built up comprehensive experience in legal services since 2007, both in the legal profession and the notarial practice, especially in the field of personal and family law.
In 2018, she joined VDB Notarissen as a junior civil-law notary within the persons and family law/estate planning division. She has held the position of associate civil-law notary at VDB Notarissen since 2020, putting her extensive knowledge and expertise in the field of persons and family law and estate planning to daily use.
